Front Row presents: Garrett Jacobs
Garrett Jacobs is a singer/songwriter from Bossier City, Louisiana. Garrett currently occupies a unique place in today's country music scene. His sound is described as a cross between country, pop, soul and blues. Garrett has been singing since he could talk, picked up a guitar at the age of 11 and began leading worship for his church back home in Louisiana. During his senior year, Garrett got the opportunity to go to Hollywood for American Idol and he successfully competed into the top 14. However, after being voted off of Idol and graduating from high school, Garrett decided that he wanted to whole-hardheartedly pursue his career in music after playing a Whiskey Jam writers round during his 1st visit to Nashville. Garrett Jacobs debut single, “The Healing” was released in 2019, which was the first song that Garrett has ever co-written. Garrett has made it a top priority to hone his skills as a songwriter and performer, and now has shared the stage with acts such as Colbie Caillat, Montgomery Gentry, Adam Doleac, Riley Green and Jon Langston.
